This work continues an ongoing exploration of stories centered on strong women within horse-human relationships. At its core is a surrendered horse-human figure, positioned motionless and facing the wall, with all interaction occurring behind their back, silently initiated by the audience. The installation investigates the boundaries of consent, obedience, and participation, raising questions about where authority ends and agency begins. The figure’s stillness and imposed orientation evoke a sense of cruel obedience, turning submission into both performance and provocation. Through the audience’s playful yet unsettling involvement, the piece reflects on the power dynamics inherent in labor, gender roles, and the act of looking.
